The "Sharod Utshob" is a highly anticipated event that brings people from different backgrounds together for a day of culture, spirituality, and music. This year, the event will be hosted on two days: October 5 and October 12. The event offers a variety of experiences, starting with Mahalaya, a cultural program, and a concert on October 5, followed by the peaceful observance of Durga Puja on October 12.
The Cultural Program on October 5 showcases the talents of local performers who bring Bengal's vibrant culture to life through various forms of art. The main highlight is a captivating concert by the renowned Pousali Banerjee and her team, promising an unforgettable musical experience.

We invite all our friends and families to join the সার্বজনীন দূর্গা পূজা and immerse yourself in the spirit of devotion and gratitude.
This event will be organized by the Greater Austin Puja Association (GAPA) and jointly sponsored by Bandhan Friends and Family (BFF), the Bandhan Cultural Association of Greater Austin and Oikotan. Please stay tuned for more details.
Registration Fees:
For two days (Oct 5 and Oct 12):
Adult: $90
Kids(10+), Student or Senior Citizen: $50.
Kids 10 or below: Free.
For 1 day registration(Oct 12):
Adult: $50
Kids(10+), Student or Senior Citizen: $30.
Kids 10 or below: Free.

Its mission statement lies in promoting social and cultural activities focusing on Bengali culture to entertain the members of the Bengali community and others living in this area of Central Texas.

The organization objectives includes the followings:
To create various cultural and recreational programs focusing on Bengali culture to entertain the members of the Bengali community and others living in the area.
To improve and enhance the quality of the social and cultural activities in this area by providing training to the interested persons on non-commercial basis.
To promote the children activities with a focus on Bengali culture.
To engage in miscellaneous that will have positive impact on the socio-cultural environment in the area.
